Regular Season Round 28: Rishon - Holon 98-81

The game between third ranked Rishon (16-11) and 6th ranked Hapoel Holon (12-15) in Rishon Le-Zion ended with biggest points difference. Rishon beat guests from Holon 98-81. The game without a history. Rishon led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Rishon outrebounded Hapoel Holon 43-32 including 29 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. The former international guard Adam Ariel (195-94, agency: Avi Zilberman) fired 28 points for the winners. American guard Alex Hamilton (193-93, college: Louisiana Tech, agency: 3Eye) chipped in 18 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Rishon's coach Guy Goodes used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Jimmy Hall (203-94, college: Kent St.) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Jermaine Love (188-89, college: UIS) added 18 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists respectively for lost side. Four Hapoel Holon players scored in double figures. Rishon maintains third position with 16-11 record having eight points less than leader Maccabi T-A. Hapoel Holon lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth place with 15 games lost. Rishon's next round opponent will be league's leader Maccabi T-A in Tel-Aviv and it will be for sure the game of the week. Hapoel Holon will play on the road against the league's second-placed Hapoel Jerusalem (#2) and hope to win that game.
