Very expected game in Guangzhou where 17th ranked Long-Lions (4-10) were crushed by third ranked Beijing Ducks (11-2) 105-81 on Saturday. Beijing Ducks outrebounded Long-Lions 46-32 including 32 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Beijing Ducks made 9 blocks. Long-Lions were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Taiwanese-American point guard Jeremy Lin (190-88, college: Harvard) scored 18 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Nigerian-American power forward Ekpe Udoh (208-87, college: Baylor) chipped in 25 points, 7 rebounds and 6 blocks during the contest. The best for the losing side was forward Kun Si (195-95) with 16 points and forward Tian Yuheng (196-96) scored 16 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Beijing Ducks have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. Loser Long-Lions keep the seventeenth position with ten games lost.
