Regular Season Round 4: Hamilton - Edmonton 82-88

Another exciting game was between third ranked Edmonton and one of their biggest challengers Hamilton where Edmonton (2-1) beat Hamilton (1-2) on the road 88-82. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Edmonton forced 20 Hamilton turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Jordan Baker (201-91, college: Alberta) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 9 rebounds. Brody Clarke (205-96, college: Alberta) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Guard Duane Notice (188-94, college: S.Carolina, agency: Inception Sports) replied with 23 points and American point guard Briante Weber (188-92, college: VCU) added 10 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists in the effort for Hamilton. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Edmonton keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Fraser Valley and Guelph. Hamilton at the other side dropped to the fifth place with two games lost. They share the position with Niagara and Ottawa. Edmonton will play against Niagara (#6) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Hamilton will have a break next round.
