Regular Season Round 6: Fraser Valley - Hamilton 96-102

The most important game in the last round took place in Fraser Valley between third ranked Fraser Valley (2-2) and fourth ranked Hamilton (2-2) on Saturday night. Fraser Valley was defeated by Hamilton in a tough game at home 96-102. Hamilton looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was guard Ammanuel Diressa (193-93, college: Ryerson) who scored 18 points and 6 assists. Nigerian-Canadian guard Caleb Agada (196-94, college: Ottawa, agency: Blacktop Management) chipped in 16 points. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Jahenns-Ley Manigat (186-91, college: Creighton) who recorded 22 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and Jamaican-Canadian guard Junior Cadougan (185-90, college: Marquette) added 14 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists respectively. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Hamilton moved-up to third place, which they share with defeated Fraser Valley. Hamilton is looking forward to face Ottawa (#5) at home in the next round. Fraser Valley will play against Niagara and is hoping to win this game.
