An exciting game was played in Miami. First ranked Heat faced second-ranked Celtics. Host Heat (43-25) defeated guests from Boston (44-23) 112-106. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Heat looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Celtics were plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was Bam Adebayo (208-97, college: Kentucky) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds. Canadian Kelly Olynyk (213-91, college: Gonzaga) chipped in 15 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Forward Jayson Tatum (203-98, college: Duke) produced 23 points and 7 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) and forward Jaylen Brown (201-96, college: California) added 18 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the guests. Four Heat and five Celtics players scored in double figures. Celtics' coach let to play eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Heat maintains first position with 43-25 record. Loser Celtics keep the second place with 23 games lost. Heat will have a break next day. Celtics will play on the road against Nets in Brooklyn and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
