Regular Season Round 9: Chicago S. - Dallas W. 82-79

Important game to mention about took place in Chicago. First ranked Sky (4-1) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 3rd placed Wings (2-3) 82-79 on Tuesday evening. It was a good game for Hungarian-American point guard Courtney Vandersloot (173-89, college: Gonzaga) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists. Center Azura Stevens (198-96, college: UConn, agency: LBM Management) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Guard Arike Ogunbowale (173-97, college: Notre Dame) answered with 26 points and 5 assists and guard Allisha Gray (183-95, college: S.Carolina) added 12 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Wings. Five Sky and four Wings players scored in double figures. Wings' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Sky maintains first place with 4-1 record, which they share with Seattle S. Wings at the other side dropped to the fourth position with three games lost. They share it with Atlanta D.. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
