We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams where 5th ranked Mercury (6-5) was defeated by sixth ranked Wings (4-7) 95-89. It was a good game for guard Arike Ogunbowale (173-97, college: Notre Dame) who led her team to a victory with 33 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds. Guard Allisha Gray (183-95, college: S.Carolina) contributed with 20 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Wings players scored in double figures. Center Brittney Griner (203-90, college: Baylor, agency: Wasserman) answered with 29 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and Italian-American Diana Taurasi (182-82, college: UConn, agency: Wasserman) added 14 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Mercury. Mercury's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Wings moved-up to third place, which they share with Connecticut S. Mercury at the other side keeps the fifth position with five games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
