Another exciting game for Urupan (5-1) which played in Montevideo against Cordon (4-2). Urupan won 96-89. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. It was a great evening for forward Nicola Pomoli (195-99) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Argentinian center Agustin Caffaro (211-95) helped adding 19 points and 10 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American center Paul Harrison (204-89, college: NGU) with 26 points and forward Martin Rojas (194-98) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. Five Urupan and four Cordon players scored in double figures. Urupan will play against Sayago (#10) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Cordon's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Montevideo to the arena Verdirrojo.
