The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Soles in Aguascalientes. Visitors were defeated by Panteras 104-98. They shot the lights out from three nailing 12 long-distance shots on high 54.5 percentage. Panteras players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Will Artino (211-92, college: Creighton) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 6 rebounds. Puerto Rican guard Jorge Pacheco-Ortiz (186-98, college: Liberty, agency: Green Sports Management) contributed with 16 points and 4 assists for the winners. Four Panteras players scored in double figures. International guard Luke Martinez (190-90, college: Wyoming, agency: Pro Sports) answered with 21 points and 7 rebounds and American-Argentinian guard Erik Thomas (195-95, college: New Orleans) added 15 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Soles. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Panteras will again play against Soles in Mexicali in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Soles will have a break next round.
