Regular Season Round 9: Lakeside L. - Warwick S. 70-97

Very significant was Senators' (#1, 11-1) victory against 3rd placed Lightning (8-4) 97-70. Senators dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Lightning's 32. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. It was a good game for American guard Justin King (196-89, college: TRU) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Caleb Davis (206-95, college: SVSU) contributed with 23 points for the winners. Four Senators players scored in double figures. Center Andrew Ferguson (213-98, college: CS Monterey) answered with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds and guard Kayden Malseed added 21 points in the effort for Lightning. Lightning's coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Senators maintains first place in League with 11-1 record. Lightning at the other side dropped to the fourth position with four games lost. Senators' next round opponent will be Flames (#7) in Rockingham which should be theoretically another easy game. Lightning will play at home against Redbacks and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
