Regular Season Round 3: Enea Astoria - King 73-83

Very expected game in Bydgoszcz where Enea Astoria (0-3) was defeated by Wilki Morskie (3-0) 83-73 on Sunday. Wilki Morskie outrebounded Enea Astoria 40-27 including 32 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. The best player for the winners was power forward Mateusz Bartosz (205-87) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists. American forward Cleveland Melvin (203-91, college: DePaul) chipped in 22 points and 9 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Corey Sanders (188-97, college: Rutgers) who recorded 19 points and 4 assists and forward Jakub Niziol (200-96, college: Cal Poly) added 14 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Wilki Morskie will face Stelmet Enea BC in Zielona Gora in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Enea Astoria will play on the road against Legia (#5) in Warszawa and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
