The game between Top Four teams took place in Zacatecas. host Mineros (2-1) defeated Dorados (2-1) 86-80. It was a good game for American forward Mike Bruesewitz (201-90, college: Wisconsin) who led his team to a victory with 30 points and 7 rebounds (perfect from the field making all ten shots !!!). His fellow American import center Eric Dawson (206-84, college: Midwestern St., agency: Interperformances) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. Dawson is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Mineros' coach Allans Colon allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The former international guard Arim Solares (198-83) answered with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and Dominican guard Rigoberto Mendoza (187-92) added 18 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Dorados. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Mineros' next round opponent will be again Dorados (#3) in Chihuahua, which may be the game of the day.
