There was a small surprise in Bullcreek where seventh ranked Lightning (7-4) outleveled 5th ranked Redbacks (6-4) 74-40 on Saturday. Lightning held Redbacks to an opponent 19.2 percent shooting from the field compared to 41.7 percent accuracy of the winners and made 17-of-18 free shots (94.4 percent) during the game. Lightning had a 39-23 advantage in offensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Lightning made 7 blocks. Courtney Mansfield fired 18 points and 5 assists for the winners. Power forward Ashleigh Isenbarger (187-97) chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds.
