Leader Wanneroo recorded the tenth victory. This time they crushed 8th ranked Tigers (4-7) 89-60 in Joondalup. Wanneroo made 25-of-31 charity shots (80.6 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 Tigers turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. 26 personal fouls committed by Tigers helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American forward Kayla Steindl (187-89, college: Gonzaga) notched 24 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import power forward Amber Land (188-85, college: EMU) supported her with 11 points and 9 rebounds. Four Wanneroo players scored in double figures. Even 13 points by swingman Desiree Kelley (175-95) did not help to save the game for Tigers. Guard Hayley Winter (165-97) added 8 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Wanneroo maintains first position in League with 10-1 record. Tigers at the other side keep the eighth place with seven games lost.
