An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Perth. Second ranked Senators faced 3rd ranked Flames. Host Senators (9-1) smashed guests from Rockingham (8-3) 88-49. Senators held Flames to an opponent 20.7 percent shooting from the field compared to 50.7 percent accuracy of the winners. Senators forced 26 Flames turnovers and outrebounded them 56-36 including a 41-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Senators maintains second position in League with 9-1 record having just 2 victories less than leader SD Spartans. Flames at the other side dropped to the fourth place with three games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
