This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of 5th ranked Rollers (4-3) to third ranked Capitals (6-2) 57-54 on Saturday evening. Capitals outrebounded Rollers 51-32 including a 38-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. Georgia Woolley fired 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. The former international center Meg Essex (190-96) chipped in 17 points and 7 rebounds. Capitals' coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game.
