Regular Season Round 5: Libertadores - Astros 99-107

Another interesting game for Astros (3-2) which played in Queretaro against Libertadores (2-3). Fourth ranked Astros won 107-99. They made 16-of-16 charity shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. Astros players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Panamanian center Ernesto Oglivie (198-89) stepped up and scored 25 points for the winners and American Brandon Robinson (196-89, college: Clayton St.) chipped in 20 points and 4 assists. Astros' coach Sergio Valdeolmillos allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American Jordan Adams (196-94, college: UCLA) responded with 36 points (!!!) and 4 assists and the other American import guard Stedmon Lemon (198-92, college: JCSU) scored 30 points and 6 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Astros have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Soles and Dorados. Libertadores lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fourth position with three games lost. They share it with Panteras and Plateros. Astros will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Libertadores will play again at home against the league's second-placed Astros (#2) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
