Regular Season Round 3: Haneda Vickies - Eneos S. 78-109

No shocking result in a game when Eneos S. (3-0) crushed Haneda Vickies (0-3) in Tokyo 109-78 on Saturday. Eneos S. dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Haneda Vickies' 40. They outrebounded Haneda Vickies 37-22 including 24 on the defensive glass. Eneos S. shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 56.5 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Haneda Vickies' players. It was a good game for the former international power forward Ramu Tokashiki (193-91) who led her team to a victory with 29 points and 8 rebounds. The former international guard Saki Hayashi (173-95) contributed with 25 points and 4 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Eneos S. players scored in double figures. International guard Nanoko Motohashi (164-93) answered with 18 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and forward Okuda Hana (175-94) added 12 points in the effort for Haneda Vickies. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Eneos S. will have a break next round. Haneda Vickies will play again at home against Eneos S. (#1) and look forward to get finally their first victory.
