Worth to mention a great performance of American-Argentinian guard Erik Thomas (195-95, college: New Orleans) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. American forward Shonn Miller (201-93, college: UConn) contributed with 15 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Soles players scored in double figures. American Brandon Robinson (196-89, college: Clayton St.) answered with 21 points (made all of his eight free throws) and Venezuelan point guard Heissler Guillent (186-86) added 8 points and 6 assists in the effort for Astros. Soles moved-up to second place, which they share with defeated Astros. Soles will again play against Astros (#3) in Guadalajara in the next round, which may be the game of the day.
