Tarn.Gory used a home court advantage and outleveled the opponent from Gliwice 85-65 on Sunday night. Tarn.Gory looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Gliwice 2's players. Guard Dawid Weiss (188-88) stepped up and scored 15 points and 9 assists for the winners and forward Aleksander Maslanka (197-91) chipped in 13 points and 11 rebounds. Five Tarn.Gory players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Stanislaw Helinski (198-0) responded with 20 points and center Bartosz Chodukiewicz (211-2) scored 13 points. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Tarn.Gory will face AZS PCz in Czestochowa in the next round, which may be the game of the day.
