Tur Bielsk Pdl. used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Kielce 107-102 on Sunday night. Tur Bielsk Pdl. made 28-of-36 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 38 assists. AZS UJK was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Forward Rafal Krol (197-87) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 31 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists (made all of his ten free throws !!!) for the winners and forward Lukasz Kuczynski (196-85) chipped in 24 points and 12 rebounds. At the losing side guard Przemyslaw Zygmunciak (190-0, college: N.Platte CC) responded with 38 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds (made all of his twelve free throws !!!) and Maciej Parszewski (195-94) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Tur Bielsk Pdl. and four AZS UJK players scored in double figures. AZS UJK's coach Rafal Gil rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Tur Bielsk Pdl. will face Kutno on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. AZS UJK will play against Zyrardow and hope to win that game.
