Regular Season Round 8: Panteras - Libertadores 94-109

LNBP round 8 most important game was a victory of Libertadores over 5th ranked Panteras 109-94 on Sunday night. Libertadores made 19-of-21 free shots (90.5 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists. American players dominated the game. Jordan Adams (196-94, college: UCLA) orchestrated the victory by scoring 36 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 4 assists (was perfect 11-for-11 from the free throw line !!!). Guard Stedmon Lemon (198-92, college: JCSU) contributed with 26 points and 5 assists for the winners. Point guard Josh Rodriguez (198-92, college: PLNU) replied with 20 points and 6 assists and power forward Will Artino (211-92, college: Creighton) added 9 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists in the effort for Panteras. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Panteras' coach Manuel Cintron rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Libertadores (4-4) moved-up to third place, which they share with Astros. Panteras at the other side dropped to the fourth position with five games lost. They share it with Plateros. Libertadores is looking forward to face league's leader Aaguacateros in Michoacan in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Panteras will have a break next round.
