Very important is a home loss of second ranked O.Mundial (8-3) against ninth ranked Sayago (5-6) on Monday night. Host O.Mundial was defeated by Sayago in Montevideo 74-64. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of O.Mundial. It was an exceptional evening for guard German Silvarrey (183-87) who led the winners and scored 13 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Power forward Nahuel Lemos (205-99) accounted for 19 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. Sayago's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Italian-Argentinian center Damian Tintorelli (205-81) came up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds and forward Emiliano Gonzalez (201-88) added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively for O.Mundial in the defeat. The victory was the third consecutive win for Sayago. They moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Tabare and 25 de Agosto. O.Mundial at the other side keeps the second position with three games lost. They share it with Cordon.
