We should mention about the upset which took place in , where Mark lost to Wetterbygden in a road game 71-78. Mark was ahead by 3 points at the halftime before a 37-27 second half run of Wetterbygden. They outrebounded Mark 47-31 including a 20-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Mark's players. Forward Evelyn Ovner (178-93, college: Bridgeport) nailed 22 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and American-Irish forward Maura Fitzpatrick (178-97, college: Marist) accounted for 23 points and 5 rebounds. Wetterbygden's coach Krumesh Patel allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American guard Shayla Bennett (175-97, college: UNC) came up with 33 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import forward Fallyn Freije (183-96, college: Montana St.) added 11 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Mark in the defeat.
