State League top team - Thunder (9-0) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed fifth ranked Rollers (5-4) in Loganholme 87-60. Thunder looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Rollers' players. Worth to mention a quality performance of forward Mikaela Ruef (190-90, college: Stanford) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points and 17 rebounds and Mikhaela Cann who added 19 points, 8 rebounds, 12 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Four Thunder players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American forward Kisha Lee (182-85, college: UNLV) with 13 points and 7 rebounds and Lilly Rotunno scored 9 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Thunder have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 9-0 record. Rollers at the other side dropped to the sixth place with four games lost. Thunder are looking forward to face Wizards (#7) in Taigum in the next round where they are favorite. Rollers will play at home against Force and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
