Another exciting game was between Gdynia and Gdynia II where Gdynia crushed Gdynia II on the road with 46-point difference 101-55. The game without a history. Gdynia led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Gdynia II's 28 and made 19-of-24 charity shots (79.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 24 Gdynia II turnovers and outrebounded them 41-20 including a 19-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 33 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Gdynia II's players. Worth to mention a great performance of Lithuanian power forward Laura Miskiniene-Svaryte (190-92) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points, 14 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals (made all of her eight free throws). Greek forward Artemis Spanou (187-93, college: RMU) contributed with 15 points and 5 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Gdynia players scored in double figures. Point guard Julia Niemojewska (170-98) answered with 20 points and 5 assists and power forward Marta Marcinkowska (181-98) added 11 points in the effort for Gdynia II. Gdynia will play against Gorzow Wlkp. at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Gdynia II will play against Pol.Gdansk to get more than just one victory in their record.
