Regular Season Round 2: Nysa - Koscian 93-66

Nysa used a home court advantage and outplayed the opponent from Koscian 93-66 on Saturday night. Nysa dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Koscian's 22. They outrebounded Koscian 48-33 including a 38-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Nysa looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Koscian's players. The best player for the winners was Jan Fedorski (192-98) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds. Forward Maciej Muskala (195-96) chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Guard Pawel Ciazkowski (190-86) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds and Michal Hebdzynski (190-94) added 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. Four Nysa and five Koscian players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Nysa will face Zary on the road in the next round and it may be the game of the week.
