Very important is a road loss of Aomori W. against Fukushima on Saturday night. Visiting Aomori W. was defeated by Fukushima in a tough game in Fukushima 71-75. South African center Tshilidzi Nephawe (208-89, college: NM State) nailed a double-double by scoring 27 points and 20 rebounds for the winning side and point guard Shinya Murakami (172-91) accounted for 9 points and 4 assists. American forward Stephen Hurt (211-93, college: Kansas St.) came up with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists and the other American import center Joshua Crawford (211-88, college: Indiana St.) added 14 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Aomori W. in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Fukushima's next round opponent will be again Aomori W. at home.
