Regular Season Round 2: Le Mans - Gravelines 69-64

Very predictable result when Le Mans (2-0) defeated at home Gravelines-Dunkerque (0-3) 69-64 on Saturday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Le Mans made 16-of-17 free shots (94.1 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 Gravelines-Dunkerque turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was British Ovie Soko (201-91, college: Duquesne, agency: Octagon Europe) who scored 16 points and 6 rebounds. Kosovan-American swingman Scott Bamforth (188-89, college: Weber St., agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 11 points and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard Corey Davis (186-97, college: Houston) who recorded 21 points and 4 assists and Greek power forward Chris Horton (202-94, college: Austin Peay) added 12 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Le Mans will meet JL Bourg on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
