Regular Season Round 2: Notec Inowr. - Ogniwo Szcz. 106-60

There was no surprise in Inowroclaw where Ogniwo Szcz. was crushed by Notec Inowr. 106-60 on Sunday. Notec Inowr. dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Ogniwo Szcz.'s 28. Notec Inowr. forced 37 Ogniwo Szcz. turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Ogniwo Szcz.'s players. The best player for the winners was forward Kacper Grzelak (190-99) who scored 18 points and 5 steals (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Swingman Damian Janiak (195-89, agency: Promotex) chipped in 14 points and 5 assists. Four Notec Inowr. players scored in double figures. Notec Inowr.'s coach Piotr Wisniewski felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Center Karol Pytys (202-85) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks and swingman Michal Ostrowski (193-98) added 10 points and 5 assists respectively for the guests. Notec Inowr. will face AZS UMK in Torun in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Ogniwo Szcz. will play on the road against Gniezno and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
