Regular Season Round 2: Niigata A. - Yokohama BC 80-75

There was a minor upset when Yokohama BC was defeated on the road by Niigata A. 80-75 on Sunday. Niigata A. looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was American-North Macedonian center Richard Hendrix (203-86, college: Alabama) who had a double-double by scoring 30 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks. Hungarian-American Rosco Allen (208-93, college: Stanford, agency: Pensack Sports) chipped in 21 points and 6 rebounds. Turkish center Reginald Becton (206-91) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds and naturalized American guard Aki Chambers (190-90, college: UC Merced) added 16 points respectively for the guests. Yokohama BC's coach Kyle Milling rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Niigata A. will face Ryukyu GK in Okinawa in the next round. Yokohama BC will play on the road against Shiga L-Stars and hope to win that game.
