Broni used a home court advantage and smashed the opponent from Vigarano 85-59 on Sunday night. Broni made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. It was a very good performance for Bosnian-American center Lynetta Kizer (193-90, college: Maryland) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 7 rebounds. Swingman Marida Orazzo (174-94, agency: LBM Management) contributed with 17 points for the winners. American forward Ja'Tavia Tapley (191-97, college: ASU) answered with 18 points and 7 rebounds and naturalized Argentinian swingman Macarena Rosset (178-91) added 12 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Vigarano. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Broni will face Empoli on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Vigarano will play against Campobasso and hope to win that game.
