Regular Season Round 3: Samorin - SKP 08 BB 64-52

Samorin used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Banska Bystrica 64-52 on Wednesday night. Samorin forced 20 SKP 08 BB turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for the former international guard Timea Sujova (172-84) who led the winners and scored 20 points and 6 assists. Naturalized Polish center Bianka Vaigl (180-95) accounted for 13 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side. Forward Zuzana Vargova (184-2) came up with 17 points and 7 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) and Alexandra Belusova (177-99) added 10 points and 7 rebounds respectively for SKP 08 BB in the defeat. Samorin will meet at home MBK Ruzomberok in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. SKP 08 BB will play against Piestanske C. (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
