An exciting game was played in Nova Ves. Second ranked Nova Ves faced 4th ranked Iskra Svit. Host Nova Ves (3-1) smashed guests from Svit (1-2) 94-69. Nova Ves made 18-of-23 charity shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Nova Ves outrebounded Iskra Svit 37-26 including 24 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Iskra Svit's players. Worth to mention a great performance of international swingman Adam Antoni (191-95) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 8 rebounds. American guard Delano Spencer (190-94, college: TSU) contributed with 19 points for the winners. Four Nova Ves players scored in double figures. Nova Ves' coach Teo Hojc felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Martin Bizub (204-99) replied with 22 points and American forward Dominic Green (198-97, college: Washington) added 11 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Iskra Svit. Nova Ves have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 3-1 record behind leader Lucenec. Iskra Svit at the other side keeps the fourth place with two games lost. They share the position with Prievidza and Inter Bratislava. Nova Ves will play against league's leader Lucenec on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Iskra Svit will play against Prievidza and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
