Regular Season Round 3: Gravelines - Roanne 77-43

Gravelines-Dunkerque can celebrate their first win this season after three consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Chorale de Roanne (0-3) 77-43 on Friday. Gravelines-Dunkerque made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 28 Chorale de Roanne turnovers. Gravelines-Dunkerque looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Chorale de Roanne's players. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Gravelines-Dunkerque (1-3) left bottom position moving up to twelfth place, which they share with Cholet and Chalon. It was Chorale de Roanne's third loss in a row. They still close the standings with three games lost. Gravelines-Dunkerque will meet higher ranked ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket (#7) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Chorale de Roanne will play against Cholet Basket (#12) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
