Regular Season Round 3: Zubry - Ostrow Mazow. 86-96

No shocking result in a game when Ostrow Mazow. (2-1) beat Zubry (0-1) in Bialystok 96-86 on Saturday. Ostrow Mazow. forced 22 Zubry turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a good game for forward Przemyslaw Sloniewski (193-94) who led his team to a victory with 29 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals. Swingman Mikolaj Motel (191-94) contributed with 29 points for the winners. Ostrow Mazow.'s coach Grzegorz Helcbergiel used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Arkadiusz Zabielski (196-84) answered with a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 15 rebounds and Andrzej Misiewicz (199-84, college: Daytona St.) added 10 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Zubry. Ostrow Mazow. will have a break next round. Zubry will play on the road against Pabianice (#13) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
