Regular Season Round 3: Shiga L-Stars - Yokohama BC 76-84

The game between closely ranked teams ended with Shiga L-Stars' (0-3) home loss to Yokohama BC (2-1) 76-84 on Saturday. Yokohama BC outrebounded Shiga L-Stars 35-23 including a 25-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. It was a good game for naturalized American guard Aki Chambers (190-90, college: UC Merced) who led his team to a victory with 23 points. Naturalized American power forward Edward Morris (204-84, college: Pitt St.) contributed with 8 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American center Will Creekmore (205-89, college: Missouri St.) answered with 20 points and 6 rebounds and Kevin Hareyama (191-93) added 16 points in the effort for Shiga L-Stars. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Shiga L-Stars' coach Shawn Dennis rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Yokohama BC will have a break next round. Shiga L-Stars will play again at home against Yokohama BC (#7) and look forward to get finally their first victory.
