Another exciting game was between second ranked Brisbane Capitals and 3rd placed Brisbane Spartans where Brisbane Capitals (9-2) crushed Brisbane Spartans (8-3) on the road with 44-point difference 133-89. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Brisbane Spartans. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Brisbane Capitals made 18-of-21 charity shots (85.7 percent) during the game. They also forced 25 Brisbane Spartans turnovers. Brisbane Capitals players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists comparing to just 18 passes made by Brisbane Spartans' players. Power forward Callum Dalton (207-0) answered with 25 points and New Zealand center Tyrell Harrison (213-99) added 14 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Brisbane Spartans. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Brisbane Capitals maintains second place with 9-2 record having just twenty point less than leader RedCity R., which they share with Ipswich F. Brisbane Spartans at the other side dropped to the fourth position with three games lost.
