Very important is a road loss of Osaka E. (1-2) against Toshiba Thunders (2-1) on Saturday night. Visiting Osaka E. was defeated by Toshiba Thunders in Kanagawa 77-62. Toshiba Thunders looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was an exceptional evening for international power forward Nick Fazekas (211-85, college: Nevada) who led the winners and scored 26 points and 9 rebounds. Spanish Pablo Aguilar (203-89) accounted for 10 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side. Toshiba Thunders' coach Kenji Sato used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. American center Garrett Stutz (214-90, college: Wichita St.) came up with 24 points and 6 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and the other American import forward Josh Harrellson (208-89, college: Kentucky) added 11 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Osaka E. in the defeat. Toshiba Thunders will again meet at home Osaka E. (#4) in the next round. Osaka E. will have a break next round.
