Regular Season Round 3: Krosno - Lowicz 72-79

Another exciting game for Lowicz (2-1) which played in Krosno against Miasto Szkla (1-2). Lowicz won 79-72. Strangely Miasto Szkla outrebounded Lowicz 46-32 including a 17-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Miasto Szkla was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for point guard Wojciech Jakubiak (188-96) who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points. Mikolaj Stopierzynski (190-94) helped adding 11 points and 8 assists. Five Lowicz players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was forward Alan Czujkowski (199-90, agency: Promotex) with 13 points and 8 rebounds and Mateusz Szczypinski (194-98, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 14 points. Miasto Szkla's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Lowicz will play against Pelplin (#16) in Pelpin in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Miasto Szkla will play on the road against Lancut (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
