Regular Season Round 13: Fuerza Regia - Dorados 84-81

Important game to mention about took place in Monterrey. Fifth ranked Fuerza Regia (5-6) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 3rd placed Dorados (8-5) 84-81 on Saturday evening. Dorados were plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Daniel Bejarano (193-91, college: Colorado St.) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 5 rebounds. Point guard Gustavo Aguirre (189-88) contributed with 15 points and 4 assists for the winners. Four Fuerza Regia players scored in double figures. Argentinian point guard Juan Brussino (185-91) answered with 14 points and 7 assists and Dominican guard Rigoberto Mendoza (187-92) added 13 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Dorados. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Fuerza Regia moved-up to fourth place. Dorados at the other side keep the third position with five games lost. Fuerza Regia will play against Correcaminos (#6) in Ciudad Victoria in the next round. Dorados will play at home against the league's leader Mineros and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
