Regular Season Round 3: Rybnik - MKS DG 2 77-101

Not a big story in a game when Rybnik (0-3) was outscored at home by MKS DG 2 (1-0) 101-77 on Saturday. MKS DG 2 made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. MKS DG 2 looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. It was a good game for point guard Pawel Jurczynski (183-91) who led his team to a victory with 36 points (!!!). Dawid Boryka (188-97) contributed with 12 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four MKS DG 2 players scored in double figures. MKS DG 2's coach Wojciech Wieczorek felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Center Tomasz Czajkowski (203-82) answered with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists and forward Krzysztof Zielinski (192-82) added 20 points and 4 assists in the effort for Rybnik. MKS DG 2 will face Tarn.Gory (#3) in Tarnowskie Gory in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Rybnik will play on the road against AZS PWSTE (#11) in Jaroslaw and hopes to get finally their first victory.
