Regular Season Round 3: Dziki Wwa - Czarni 66-73

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Dziki Wwa (2-1) in Warszawa on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by Czarni (3-0) 73-66. Czarni outrebounded Dziki Wwa 47-31 including a 18-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for guard Piotr Smigielski (190-89) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Adrian Kordalski (185-95) contributed with 16 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Point guard Patryk Gospodarek (184-94, agency: Octagon Europe) answered with 22 points and 6 assists and Pawel Krefft (196-96) added 11 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Dziki Wwa. Dziki Wwa's coach Piotr Bakun rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Czarni is looking forward to face Kolobrzeg (#15) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Dziki Wwa will play against Pruszkow (#13) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
