Very expected game when bottom-ranked Promete (0-3) lost to tenth ranked IDK Eustotren (2-2) in San Sebastian 55-62 on Saturday. IDK Eustotren outrebounded Promete 29-15 including a 22-10 advantage in defensive rebounds. Quite impressive performance for Senegalese power forward Oumoul Sarr (185-84) who helped to win the game recording 12 points and 4 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Mali power forward Meiya Tirera (186-86) contributed with 12 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Laia Flores (171-96, college: S.Florida) replied with 18 points and swingman Paula Estebas (175-93) added 12 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Promete. IDK Eustotren moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Cadi La Seu and Gernika. Loser Promete still closes the standings with three games lost. IDK Eustotren will face Al-Qazeres (#14) in Caceres in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Promete will play at home against Gernika and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
