Regular Season Round 2: A3 Basket - IK Eos 96-93

Important game to mention about took place in Umea. A3 Basket saved a 3-point victory at home edging IK Eos 96-93 in the game for the fourth place. IK Eos were ahead by 6 points at the halftime before a 32-14 third quarter run of A3 Basket. German guard Emma Stach (175-96, college: Gonzaga, agency: Scorers 1st Sportmanagement) scored 38 points (!!!) (on 14-of-16 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and American point guard Janee Thompson (170-93, college: Kentucky) chipped in 23 points and 8 assists during the contest. American guard Alexa Middleton (175-95, college: Iowa St.) responded with 26 points and 7 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) and Croatian-Italian center Dubravka Dacic (201-85) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks. Four IK Eos players scored in double figures. IK Eos' coach Jan Hricko rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. A3 Basket will play against Hogsbo in Goteborg in the next round and it may be the game of the week. IK Eos will play at home against Mark to get more than just one victory in their record.
