Regular Season Round 3: Chartres - SIG 69-60

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of SIG (1-1) on the court of Chartres on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Chartres 69-60. Chartres forced 27 SIG turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a great evening for power forward Kekelly Elenga (184-91) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Joelly Belleka (171-95) helped adding 14 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Four Chartres players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Louise Dambach (175-96) with 20 points and 4 assists and power forward Amelie Voynet (181-94) scored 15 points and 9 rebounds. Chartres are looking forward to face Montbrison (#5) on the road in the next round. SIG will play against Reims and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
