Regular Season Round 3: Kagawa FA - Bambitious N. 84-87

Important game to mention about took place in Takamatsu. Bambitious N. (1-2) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging Kagawa FA (1-2) 87-84 in the game for the fifth place. Strangely Kagawa FA outrebounded Bambitious N. 38-17 including a 27-9 advantage in defensive rebounds. Kagawa FA was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was an exceptional evening for American Marcus Dove (206-85, college: OK State) who led the winners and scored 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import swingman Lakeem Jackson (195-90, college: S.Carolina) accounted for 15 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals for the winning side. American forward Kevin Kotzur (203-89, college: St.Mary's, TX) came up with 9 points, 18 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Takayuki Kodama (166-92) added 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for Kagawa FA in the defeat. Five Bambitious N. and four Kagawa FA players scored in double figures. Kagawa FA's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Bambitious N. will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Kagawa FA will play again at home against Bambitious N. (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
