Regular Season Round 4: Tochigi B. - Shinshu BW 84-74

Everything went according to plan when top-ranked Tochigi B. (4-0) beat at home bottom-ranked Shinshu BW (0-4) 84-74 on Sunday. Tochigi B. made 19-of-21 free shots (90.5 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of international forward Ryan Rossiter (204-89, college: Siena) who helped to win the game recording 21 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and American forward Josh Scott (208-93, college: Colorado, agency: Pensack Sports) who added 15 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Five Tochigi B. players scored in double figures. Tochigi B.'s coach Ryuzo Anzai used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side American forward Josh Hawkinson (208-95, college: WSU, agency: Wasserman) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Tatsuya Nishiyama (171-88) scored 24 points and 9 assists. Tochigi B. have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Sea Horses M. and Akita NH. Newly promoted Shinshu BW still closes the standings with four games lost. Tochigi B. will face Chiba J. (#4) on the road in the next round. Shinshu BW will play against Hitachi Sunrockers (#10) and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
