Regular Season Round 4: Shiga L-Stars - Yokohama BC 72-63

Shiga L-Stars has registered their first victory this season after three consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Yokohama BC (2-2) 72-63. It was a very good performance for American center Will Creekmore (205-89, college: Missouri St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds. Australian center Angus Brandt (208-89, college: Oregon St.) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Four Shiga L-Stars players scored in double figures. Masaaki Morikawa (190-92) replied with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and Turkish center Reginald Becton (206-91) added 13 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Yokohama BC. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Shiga L-Stars (1-3) left bottom position moving up to fifth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Yokohama BC at the other side dropped to the third position with two games lost. Shiga L-Stars' next round opponent will be Niigata A. (#9) on the road. Yokohama BC will play against Toyota Alvark (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
