Undefeated leader Sendai 89ers delivered the fourth consecutive victory on Sunday night. This time they beat 6th ranked Aomori W. (1-3) 76-66. American center Daniel Miller (211-91, college: Georgia Tech) fired a double-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winners. Point guard Masato Tsukino (178-88) chipped in 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Sendai 89ers players scored in double figures. American center Joshua Crawford (211-88, college: Indiana St.) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and his fellow American import forward Stephen Hurt (211-93, college: Kansas St.) added 12 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Sendai 89ers have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 4-0 record. Loser Aomori W. keeps the sixth place with three games lost. Sendai 89ers will face Kumamoto V. (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day.
